26/05/2010 – This is the end
00h00 – Approche du « Canale di San Pietro » via le phare du cap Sandalo (fl (4)20s 134m 24M) et nous nous alignons sur le petit phare Mangiabarche qui en dit déjà long sur son histoire.....
1h30 – Nous accostons au port de Calasetta, nouveau port d'attache pour Mrs Goodtower
..... mission accomplie :-) après 2317 MN d'aventures.....
Ce petit port typique se situe sur l'île di Sant'Antioco, laquelle est au SO de la Sardaigne (+/- 80 km à l'ouest de Cagliari). Calasetta est un village encore authentique qui est en pleine rénovation. En s'y promenant, on sent le parfum de la dolce vita qui nous donne envie de profiter de la terrasse ombragée du café del mar.
Selon un brochure locale « Cala di Seta »
Una quieta isola della Sardegna, antica terra madre di oleandri e ginepri, l'aria diventa ricca dei profumi trasportati dal maestrale che, leggero come la seta, raspice il significato ad una bellissima insenatura chiamata Cala di Seta o meglio, Calasetta..... j'adore ;-)
Ce voyage était très enrichissant. Il m'a aussi rappelé les supers moments d'un convoyage passé du Kirié 33 de Léonard. Voilier que nous avions ramené depuis Zadar en Croatie jusqu'à Port Grimaud en France.
Merci à tout ceux qui ont partagé ce convoyage avec nous et tout particulièrement à Jan un épicurien hors pair, Christian, les Peter, Dina et Koen.
Le prochain trip sera un bord en chaîne en Ecosse avec le www.gcbf.be …. rendez-vous en juillet 2010.

Ce petit port typique se situe sur l'île di Sant'Antioco, laquelle est au SO de la Sardaigne (+/- 80 km à l'ouest de Cagliari). Calasetta est un village encore authentique qui est en pleine rénovation. En s'y promenant, on sent le parfum de la dolce vita qui nous donne envie de profiter de la terrasse ombragée du café del mar.

00h00 – We bereiken het « Canale di San Pietro » langs de vuurtoren van de kaap Sandalo (fl (4)20s 134m 24M) waar we de boeg richten op de kleine vuurtoren Mangiabarche ... zijn naam spreekt boekdelen.
1h30 – We leggen aan in de haven van Calasetta, de nieuwe vakantiehaven van Mrs Goodtower...
opdracht volbracht :-) na 2317 nM vol avontuur.
Dit kleine haventje bevindt zich op het eiland Sant'Antioco ten ZW van Sardinië op +/- 80 km ten W van Cagliari. Calasetta is een authentiek stadje in volle ontwikkeling. Men snuift er de geur van la dolce vita op, wat ons naar het schaduwrijk terras van het café del mar doet verlangen.
Deze reis was zeer verrijkend. Ze heeft me eveneens herinnerd aan de mooie momenten van een gelijkaardige reis met de Kirie 33 van Léonard. De zeilboot die we van Zadar in Kroatië naar Port Grimaud in Frankrijk gebracht hebben.
Ik bedank iedereen die aan deze reis hebben deelgenomen en vooral Jan, een epicurist zonder weerga, Chris, beide Peters, Dina en Koen.
De volgende reis is rondom Schotland en de Ierse zee met www.gcbf.be .. afspraak in juli 2010.

00h00 – We reach the « Canale de San Pietro » via the light house of cape Sandalo (fl (4)20s 134m 24M) where we point the bow to the small light house Mangiabarche … its name does not need further explanation.
1h30 – We dock in the port of Calasetta, a new vacation harbour of Mrs Goodtower... mission accomplished :-) after 2317 nM of adventure.
This small typical port is situated on the isle Sant'Antioco, SW of Sardegna (+/- 80 km West of Cagliari). Calasetta is an authentique little town in full development. Walking downtown one senses the perfumes of dolce vita enciting us to install ourselves on the terasse of Café del mar well protected from the sun.
This trip was very interesting again, and it reminded me at the nice moments during a similar trip with Kirie 33 from Léonard. This boot was sailed from Zadar in Kroatia to Port Grimaud, France.
I thank everyone who participated at this trip and above all Jan, an epicurist without equal, Christian, both Peter, Dina and Koen.
The next trip will be around Scotland and the Irish sea with www.gcbf.be … scheduled in July 2010.
