English version 22-23/05/2010 – Ibiza to Menorca

After the Ibizian evening described as « put your hands up in the air »
:-) we needed to lijft the anker even if Peter had already installed himself at the beach in the early morning.

15h45, we left on a sea like oil and a sun like never seen before. The centre of the anticyclone high
joined us during the whole trip along the Baleares.

23/05/2010 – 4h00 – Mrs Goodtower is at SE of the island Mallorca. The watch at the time needs to look out at the straith North of the Isle Cabrera, however the markers are well indicating the route.

The day is typical dolce farniente, the stock of sun creme risks to get exhausted, now it is really vacation ;-)

16h30, Menorca, we pass along the South of the lighthouse Punta Marbres. Just a few more Miles to go and we arrive at the entrance of the Estuary which leads us to Mahon. At the banks we discover some very nice typical villages. The water colours of the houses blend perfectlly with the landscape.

18h00, dock, aperitif... the last pieces of the ham are going...thank you Peter. The ham is dead, long live the ham..... it would not have made it till Sardegna anyway.
